Cascade High School Announces 16th Annual 4E Day Set for September 17, 2026

CLAYTON, Ind. – Cascade High School is preparing to host the 16th Annual Cascade 4E Day on Thursday, September 17, 2026, continuing a long-standing tradition of connecting students with the opportunities that await them after graduation.

Formerly known as 3E Day and Cascade Career and College App Day, the event has evolved into 4E Day: Employ, Enroll, Enlist, and Entrepreneurship. The addition of entrepreneurship reflects Cascade's commitment to helping every student discover the pathway that best fits their future, whether that means entering the workforce, pursuing higher education, serving in the military, or launching a business.

The event is made possible through a partnership between Hendricks College Network (HCN) and the Hendricks County Community Foundation, bringing together schools, businesses, higher education, military representatives, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to invest in the next generation.

Cascade High School is also excited about the possibility of hosting this year's event in its newly completed Student Activities Center, providing an enhanced experience for both students and exhibitors.

Throughout the day, students will have opportunities to meet face-to-face with employers, colleges and universities, military branches, trade organizations, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. Participants will share career pathways, educational opportunities, hiring needs, and real-world experiences that help students make informed decisions about life after high school.

In addition to all Cascade High School students, eighth-grade students will attend to begin exploring future career and educational possibilities before entering high school.

"We want every student to leave with a clearer vision for their future," said Matt Miller, Director of College and Career Readiness for Mill Creek Community School Corporation. "Whether students choose employment, higher education, military service, or entrepreneurship, our goal is to connect them with people and organizations that can help them take the next step."

Community organizations are encouraged to participate in this year's event. Whether your organization is looking to recruit future employees, connect students with educational opportunities, inspire future entrepreneurs, or simply share your industry with the next generation, Cascade 4E Day provides a unique opportunity to engage with hundreds of students preparing for life after graduation.
